(1) Information collection and use

The Purpose of information collection is providing sound and effective telecommunication-service to customers of the KTdom.com and to raise the efficiency and the quality of service through the KTdom.com.
The KTdom.com puts it's priority of business on widely acknowledgement of members' information already listed such as URL, E-mail, industry classification, tel. number, fax number and address etc. to public. But there could be an exception in case of request from responsible organization not to make it public according to the relevant regulation or law.
Members' information each member provides to us will be used for identification of membership and for providing many useful informations. and it is supposed to be used for supplying the customized service to each member such as agency promoting by E-mail marketing, P.R. and survey through interviewing.
and also the members' information registered to our site will be automatically published on the KTdom.com's yellow page, home page and CD. So if You don't want your information to be open to public, You are recommended not to register to our site.

(2) Items and methods of information collection
The KTdom.com collects the required member's information for providing good services to customers.
For individual membership,'name, national ID number, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, homepage etc' are required to supply to us and for corporation membership, 'company name, homepage, industry category, Korean and English address of business place and introduction of company on homepage, etc'. are required.
The KTdom.com could require additional information of members when campaigning events or survey in order to conclude exact statistical analysis or to send free gifts and many kinds of bonus to members.
Generally member's information should be filled out by himself and will be a base of future benefits to receive as a membership.

(3) Ownership and holding period of member's information
From the moment you have registered as a member of the KTdom.com, we have a propriety right of informations you supplied and we can use until the withdrawal(from the date of entry to the date of withdrawal).
As mentioned below, according to the procedure defined at the paragraph(7) [deleting, correcting or referring member's information], member's information will be completely deleted never reserved to restoration of the information from data base when a member decides withdrawal.
and as mentioned at the paragraph(2)[Items and methods of information), the temporary information entered into our database for the special purposes such as events or data-survey project will be deleted completely after the event or the survey in the same manner as aforementioned.
But when we think the temporary information needs to be stored further exceeding the holding period, we never fail to get a permission to use from you.

(4) Sharing member's information
It is a general principle of the KTdom.com to make member's information public to the affiliated companies or partners. So We can share member's information for the purpose of developing and providing new services to members. In this case, It is supposed for us to notify on the home-page of our company the fact that we are sharing member's information with the affiliated companies.

(5) Operation of Cookies
The KTdom.com uses Cookies to store and to bring out member's information incessantly in order to provide specially customized services to members. The Cookie is a sort of data consist of phrases for user identification by web server, which is being supplied to user's web-browser as a small patch of data, stored in user's hard disk.
We usually find out information concerning ID using Cookies in order to provide adequate and useful services to members.
In other words, We art able to provide more better services to members using Cookies by identifying types, frequency of visitors and major concerns of users for each service.

(6) Security system
The KTdom.com has constructed following technical and systematic measures against loss, theft, leakage, modulation and damages of member's information:
Member's profiles are protected by ID and password.
The member's account number can be known only to member himself and it's change can be made by master DB on the request of member himself. Thus don't let anybody except you know the password.
We strongly recommend members to log-out when finishing computer.
Especially in case of co-sharing computers with others or using computer in public place such as company or classroom, it's absolutely necessary habit to log-out without fail in order to prevent leakage of member's information. The KTdom.com has constructed strong and powerful anti-leakage hurdles against outflowing of member's information through hacking. We also always back up data and systems preparing for an emergency accident arising from information damages etc.

(7) Deleting, correcting and referring member's information
Each member has a right to correct his profile anytime and he can also request withdrawal.
For correcting member's information, He clicks on the menu for correction using ID and password and the scope of correction includes whole informations already inputted except member's name, resident register number and ID.
The KTdom.com can proscribe his membership if any member violates this agreement or acts unlawful deeds against social basic order using services provided by us.

(8) Manager and consultant in charge of managing member's information
Each member has a responsibility of keeping ID and password secret.
The KTdom.com never asks member about his password in any case. So you are careful not to divulge your password to others. Especially as above-mentioned in paragraph(6)[Security system], You must pay more special attention when using computers at public place.
